Things to know about Alta Aura Jewelry?

Our jewelry is carefully crafted by hand and all crystals are sourced for their unique shapes and characteristics. Many of the crystals have varying colors, irregular shapes and inclusions which make them unique. Slight variations and small irregularities are to be expected – no two pieces are exactly the same.

All are pieces are made with gold fill or sterling silver wire. This makes them tarnish resistant but more affordable than solid gold. To ensure excellent long term condition of the pieces, store in the jewelry pouch and away from water and harsh chemicals.

Can I wear Alta Aura jewelry in the water/ocean?

While some crystals can be cleansed in water, others can be damaged by exposure to water and salt. Due to the delicate nature of the handmade designs, it is advised to avoid wearing your gemstones in water. Also remove jewelry when doing strenuous activities/exercise and apply skincare products/lotions/perfumes before you put on the jewelry. We recommend you aura cleanse your Alta Aura gemstones over selenite and use a soft jewelry cloth to clean and polish.

Do you accept returns?

Products are accepted for returns within 30 days of purchase. Jewelry must be unused and in perfect saleable condition. If you find that a piece is defective or damaged, let us know within 10 days of receipt of item so a replacement can be sent to you.

Shipping charges are non-refundable and are the full responsibility of the customer. The buyer is responsible for securely shipping the item along with the original packaging. When shipping the item back to us, please use the original packaging to prevent damages to the pieces. Refunds will be made for the price of the item, excluding shipping fees.

Products purchased through retailers (not directly from Alta-Aura.com) must be returned or exchanged to the retailer and are subject to the retailer’s individual store policy.

Special orders and “final sale” items are non-refundable.

Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund of the purchase price of the item, plus any applicable taxes, to post to your account.

Do you sell wholesale?

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Alta Aura provides free gift wrapping with every order. Your jewelry will be placed in a microfiber pouch bag and wrapped in a box with a purple satin bow. Explanation cards for jewelry care information and a crystal cleansing process are also included.

Do you offer free shipping?

Enjoy free shipping on all orders of $100. Your order will be shipped through US Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail.

When can I expect my order?

Alta Aura jewelry is handmade in small batches and ships from Hawaii. We will do our best to send out the order as soon as possible but allow 5-7 business days. Orders are shipped with USPS Priority Mail – typically takes 3 business days to arrive to a US destination. If you need the order sooner, please contact us at info@alta-aura.com before placing the order so we can properly help you with your request.

What if I’m purchasing as a gift?

We will gladly include a gift card with a handwritten message - wording of your choice. Be sure to include that gift message at checkout.

Is my package insured?

All orders over $200 are insured for the full value of the item. Please make sure that your order is shipped to a secure location as Alta Aura Jewelry is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
